  • Day 1: Arrival at Yangon

    Land at the airport from where our guide and driver will transport you to your Hotel which is located in Yangon. Dress up for an exciting dinner at the Karaweik Palace complete with a cultural show and Burmese cuisine. The meals served on Day 1 will be the welcome dinner.

    Day 2: Yangon to Kyaikhtiyo

    After an early breakfast you will leave for Kyaikhtiyo which is located 190 km to the east. A major attraction of the area is the gold leaf covered Rock known as the Golden Rock which is placed gracefully at the edge of the cliff. The rock is believed to hold a hair of Buddha. Late morning we will reach the Kyaikhtiyo base camp from where we will travel to the transit junction in an open truck. The journey will be of one hour. For a scenic view of the sunset, climb the Golden Rock after lunch. The accommodation will be in a Hotel in Kyaikhtiyo and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 3: Kyaikhtoyo – Bago – Yangon

    After a scrumptious breakfast we will return back to the base camp from where we will go to Bago which is an ancient capital. Visit the famous Mon style Shwemawdow Pagoda and the Shwethalyaung Pagoda – a 55 m reclining Buddha. The huge four sitting Buddha and the Palace of Kambozathadi are other places that you must need to visit. At the end of the day we return back to Yangon. Accommodation will be in a Hotel in Yangon and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 4: Yangon – Heho – inle Lake

    Travel to Heho and visit the second largest lake in Myanmar over there – the Inle Lake which is located 900 m above sea level and houses people with a unique one leg rowing technique. Visit the Phaungdawoo Pagoda on a motor boat. This is believed to be the holiest in Inle Lake. Next stop is at the jumping cat pagoda – the Ngaphechaung monastery and also various lotus and cotton weaving factories and cigar making houses. Accommodation will be in Inle Lake and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 5: Inle Lake – Indein – Inle Lake

    On day 5, visit the unique 5 day market which is held in different villages surrounding the lake and enjoy the local culture. Visit the temple of Indein after lunch and walk around its beautiful corridors while enjoying the peace and quiet of the place. Accommodation will be in Inle Lake and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 6: Inle Lake – Pindaya – Heho – Mandalay

    After breakfast we will take a heavenly drive to Pindaya in car which will be waiting for us in the northern bank of the river when we reach it by a boat. There the Pindaya’s limestone cave will be visited which is famous for its 8000 chambers filled with statues of Buddha and skilled craftsmen making Shan paper which is used by monks all over the country. A short flight to Mandalay would be taken at the end of the day. Accommodation will be in Mandalay and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 7: Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay Hill

    Filled with Monasteries, monks and Stupas, you will have the most fun time in Mandalay when you will come across the monks busy in their worship and their meals. After that drive to the Mandalay pier and then take a private boat ride to Mingun. On your visit, go to the Pahtodawgi Pagoda which is incomplete yet beautiful and also the 90 ton ringing bell of Mandalay. In the evening visit the Mandalay Palace and the Shwenandaw Monastery which is well known for its delicate and beautiful wood carvings, the largest book of the world – the Kuthodaw Pagoda and the gold leaf workshop. At the end of the day, feast your eyes on the divine view of the city from the Mandalay hill. The accommodation will be in a hotel in Mandalay and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 8: Mandalay – Sagaing – Amarapura – Bagan

    Travel to Sagaing and visit the Buddha cave, the Sunooponnyashin pagoda and the Uminthonze pagoda and also get a taste of the monk education. Explore the monk life in Amarapura in its famous Mahagandaryone Monastery Amarapura. Take a heavenly walk over the Ubein Wooden Bridge and take pictures with a bronze image of Buddha carved in his time. At the end of the day we will fly to Bagan. The accommodation will be in a hotel in Bagan and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 9: Discover Bagan

    Visit the Shwezigone Pagoda which is believed to hold a bone and tooth of Gautama Buddha. Next stop will be Bagan’s archeological Museum where we will learn the local way of making lacquer wares.  End the day by taking a beautiful sunset cruise across the Ayeyarwaddy River. The accommodation will be in a hotel in Bagan and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 10: Sightseeing in Bagan

    Have breakfast and take a totally fun filled horse cart ride to the Nan Paya Pagoda – the biggest temple in Bagan. Also visit the Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple and then head to the Manhua Temple. End the day by watching a scenic view of Bagan from the ShweSandaw Pagoda. The accommodation will be in a hotel in Bagan and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 11: Bagan Ngapali Beach

    Fly to Thandwe after breakfast and enjoy the beautiful beach of Ngapali. You can stay as long as you want. The accommodation will be in a hotel in Ngapali and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 12: Ngapali Beach free time

    You have a choice between visiting the Ngapali beach and visiting the Treasure Island on Day 12. The accommodation will be in a hotel in Ngapali and the meal served will be breakfast.

    Day 13: Ngapali Beach – Yangon

    Fly to Yangon after breakfast where you will receive a thoroughly enjoyable tour of Yangon by our guides. You will get to see the Shwedaggon Pagoda, the Chaukhtayi Pagoda, the Sule Pagoda and the Kandawgyi Lake. Also, you will visit the Scott Market for some great shopping experience.

    Day 14: Yangon Departure

    After breakfast you are free to do as you please until your departure time. The meal served will be breakfast.
